Drop-in Sewing Workshop: Dog Collar Bandana

Do you have a furry friend that needs some summer style enhancement? Learn to create your own dog collar bandana in this beginner-friendly sewing workshop! Simply participate in the Drop-in Kerchief Scarves & Bandanas Screen-Printing workshop on July 23rd-Aug 1st to print your kerchief in advance. Then drop-in on July 25th or August 1st with your sewing machine between 4-7pm to learn how to convert your screen-printed kerchief into a fashionable pet bandana. Pet-themed designs will be available during the screen-printing workshop, as well as four summer themed designed to choose from.


Bandanas will be provided to students in the screen printing workshop, however other sewing materials, including a sewing machine, will need to be provided by participants for the sewing workshop.

Instructor’s Name:
Marianne Weber has been a knitter for 10 years and have been exploring other ways to enjoy fiber arts!

Jenn Johnson is an artist and printmaker from Oklahoma who focuses in figurative abstraction. She graduated from Oklahoma State University’s BFA program in 2018, where she studied multiple forms of printmaking.

Supplies Needed: 
- sewing machine
- One spool sewing thread
- Scissors (if you have fabric scissors)
- Sewing pins or clips
