Pottery with Buck Dollarhide

Wednesday's Oct 3 - Nov 28th 1pm - 4pm . This eight-week session provides students already familiar with making functional forms such as cylinders and bowls that have experience in beginning wheel throwing. Students will continue to hone their skills by learning techniques such as making lidded vessels, adding texture, and furthering their knowledge with clay. Buck has over 30 years of pottery experience to share with students at any level. 

 

On the last day of class, there will be a potluck and show and tell about your finished pieces.

Buck Dollarhide is a professional potter who has been teaching art for over 25 years. He minored in Studio Art at OSU and studied ceramics under OSU Professor Ron DuBois.

$175 members, $225 non-members
 
Supplies:
20lbs of clay will be supplied. Students should have a basic
took kit or may use the art center's kits. All glazes will be supplied. No outside clay or glazes will be allowed. 
Additional clay may be purchased for $1.00 a pound.
