Learn to create your own hand-carved stamps in this 1 day workshop. Participants will be instructed in the basics of carving linoleum, inking and printing stamps, as well as more advanced methods of block printing such as multicolor printing, multiblock registration, and hand burnishing. Each participant will receive three 4X4 inch blocks of linoleum to carve, and all carving tools will be provided. Paper will also be included, however students are encouraged to bring their own materials to print on, such as t-shirts or fabrics, decorative papers, or tote bags.
