Adult Classes

  • Drop-in Printmaking: Holiday Block Printing

    Come print your own holiday cards, decorate fabric, or create hand-printed wrapping paper during our drop in printmaking sessions. Drop in anytime between 5-8pm, December 5th, 12th, & 19th; We’ll have linoleum blocks and stamps already carved and ready to print for each participant. Our printmaking instructor, Jenn Johnson, will be available to assist and demonstrate the printing process. Cards and blank wrapping paper will be provided. However, participants will need to bring their own fabric. Recommended materials include any cotton or muslin fabric. Fabrics printed during the printmaking session can be used for any of the Sew Saturdays projects. 
     
     
    Cost: $15 members, $20 non-members

    she runs Adobe workshops at OSU, and is also an instructor for Graphic Design 1. You will see her frequently photoshopping dogs into classical paintings and teaching all who are interested in doing something similar.

  • January - Make & Take

    Fauvism is for Birds!

    This is a make and take for all ages, 4 to adult. Introduce to Fauvism (style of les Fauves (a French term that means “the wild beasts”) a group of early 20th century artists whose works were characterized by wild brush work and strident colors, while subject matter featured high degree of simplification and abstraction. Will create a wild bird feeder utilizing those elements.

    January 20 – 10:30 to 3:00

    Ages: 4 to adult

    $5 for non-members, free to members
