Saturdays,  July14th  - August  4th   10:30am - 12:30pm    Learn the basics of working on the pottery wheel, and spend some quality time with your loved ones in this fun workshop!  Be sure to wear clothes you're not afraid to get dirty! An adult must participate in the workshop - the tuition fee of $100.00 members - 125.00 non-members and covers one parent and child attending. Classes are appropriate for children ages 5-12+. Parents with children ages 5- 8 work together on one wheel.

Tuesday's Sept 4th - Oct 9th 6:00pm - 9:00pm . Learn to use the silkscreen process to create your own limited edition prints, posters and t-shirts! Students will learn about reduction printing, resist techniques and the use of photo emulsion. This style of printmaking is fun and accessible for all skill levels. You're bound to leave the class with an exciting new skill set and plenty of art work!

Tuesday's, July 10th  - July 31st, 3:30 pm - 4:30 pm.  If you are tired of your kids handwriting or they want to be able to read yours, this is the class for you! Handwriting is a lost art, but we have found the perfect instructor to bring back to life. Enroll your child, and you can join too, for this basic introduction to Cursive handwriting.  Warning this is not the same method as Handwriting without Tears. Stephen is a IAMPETH member and brings new structure to teaching handwriting.


Saturday, July 14th from 11:00am - 3:00pm - Youth Workshop 
In this course students will learn how to create an event poster / flyer / or advertisement using Photoshop.
The topics we will cover include:
How to crop, cut, and merge images
How “layers” work 
How to change colors, contrast, and the opacity of photos
How to add and manipulate text

Saturday, July 14th from 11am - 3pm - Workshop
Learn the basic techniques for making beautiful crepe paper flowers.  In this course you will learn how to make three different flowers: roses, cherry blossoms and water flowers.  Makers will have the chance to get creative with their flowers by choosing colors, sizes and styles.

Tuesday's July 11th - August 29th. 6pm - 9p. Instruction will introduce basic to advanced wheel-throwing techniques. Beginners will start with centering the clay and throwing cylinders and bowls. Returning students will continue to refine their personal style, learn advanced techniques and focus on individual projects. Glaze application and decoration will be explored as a group. We hope you come and join this creative ceramic community!
