Learn the basic stitches to get started on any embroidery project! We will go over starting a project, which threads to use, tips to keep tension correct, and different styles of stitching. With just a few basic stitches, you will be able to make a custom embroidered image or decorate any fabric you want!

Embroidery hoop (size does not matter)
Any woven fabric (cotton or linen is great)
Embroidery floss like DMC
Embroidery needles
Optional: thread wax
Scissors
