DESCRIPTION:Students will learn how to expose their design onto a silkscreen coated with a photosensitive emulsion.  After the exposure the screen will be ready to print on totes, t-shirts or posters.  No experience in screenprinting is necessary.\N \NDesigns must be one color and submitted to Prairie Arts Center prior to the workshop at infoartscenter@okstate.edu \N13x13 tote(s) will be provided.\N\N12.5 x 19 Poster paper will be provided.\NStudents may also bring their own t-shirts to print on. (please keep image size in mind of T-shirt.)\N\NInstructor Name \NRob Smith is the Director of the Lachenmeyer Arts Center in Cushing, Oklahoma. He taught printmaking at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond for 28 years.   He has been actively involved creating prints in the screen printing process for 40 years. Smith holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma in Norman and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas.
