DESCRIPTION:Come learn the basics of oil painting in this three session workshop. All skill levels are welcome and no previous experience is necessary, just patience! This course will be an introduction to the foundations of traditional oil painting. We will work from the same still life throughout the course as Liz introduces how to build up a layers in an oil painting. The class will start with an underpainting, then add a new layer each week until our masterpieces are complete!\NInstructorLiz Dueck is the Arts Education Coordinator of the Prairie Arts Center. She received her BFA in Studio Art from Oklahoma State University focusing in Oil Painting & Ceramics, along with a minor in Art History and a K-12th Teaching Certification for Art.
