I create unique wearable art for individual women of distinction. I design from the ground up; working with local fiber producers to buy their best fiber, utilizing a small local spinning mill to create the exact yarns I desire, weaving the fabric and sewing the garments. I use the loom waste, then, to weave jewelry and accessories to complement the pieces. My fiber of choice is alpaca but I work with all natural fibers and use man-made fiber only when necessary for effect. I weave on everything from a piece of cardboard to a full production loom but even my production pieces are made to be individual, one-of-a-kind pieces. I am inspired by the natural world around me and the individual women who have made an impact on my life and the lives of others.
