Pottery Open Studio

The goal of Open Studio is for students to work freely on their own projects within a flexible schedule. Open Studio is open to students that have completed Wheel 1 or Handbuilding. During these hours students may come in and work. This is not a led class, but more of a working studio where questions can be addressed to instructors and peers. We hope to create an environment where students can experiment and get creative while having a community of support!

Times and dates are subject to change. Students can come to any or all time slots. Please note to have your space cleaned up by the ending time as the center closes promptly at 9pm.

There are 2 options for Open Studio time. Students may pay a monthly fee of $85 that includes use of half a bakers rack and locker to store their items. Monthly rate studio also has access on Monday evenings from 6-9 PM. We also offer a daily rate of $10, and students may use a half shelf for pieces that are in progress or drying with their name clearly displayed and for storing clay. If it is past 30 days since daily rate students have been to the studio, pieces and clay left on shelves will be removed.

No outside clay, bisque, or glazed pieces are allowed, nor do we allow clay to be taken out of the studio and brought back in to fire, etc. This is very important as damage to equipment can occur.

Please refer back to Student Information sheet on cleaning policies.
