This class offers an opportunity to get up close and personal with the newest fiber arts phenomenon - rug tufting. We will provide your frame, your tufting cloth, your choice of four different yarn colors from our selection, and your tufting machine, as well as an instructor to guide you through it! By the end of the two day class, you’ll have a fully tufted rug. You can choose a design from our preselected options or create your own design! After the workshop we will finish the backing of your rug for you, and they will be available for pickup right back here at the PAC.

Join us and hand embroider this fuzzy bee hoop! We will learn basic stitches such as the back stitch and chain stitches, and finish by learning turkey work to make the fuzzy textured stitches. You don't need to have any previous experience and you will be provided with all materials you need to create your project!

A pencil sharpener and a folder for your photo and other papers will be provided. With the drawing pencils, you'll learn how to add fur to your pet and other fine details that will bring your pet to life and you will be able to enjoy the satisfaction of doing a fine job!

In this two-day intensive, students will be introduced to both of the main styles of wood turning: spindle and bowl. Both styles offer unique challenges, techniques, and uses. Students will also learn how to sharpen the basic turning tools as well as the process for finishing with oils. Students will leave with completed projects ready to decorate the home.

Interested in learning a new skill?  Use a rigid heddle loom to weave a table runner or two placemats for yourself or as a gift.  Looms are provided. If you have a loom of your own and want to learn how to use it, bring it to the first class. You will learn how to warp a loom, weave, and remove the finished product from the loom.

Join instructor Missy Hitch to create and customize your own decorative plate set! Several different textures and shapes will be provided to bring your own design to your dish. No experience is needed.  All items will be bisque fired and ready to glaze by May 18th. This is a perfect project to keep for your holiday decor or gift to someone special. Participants can make up to two plates.
