Bring your party to Prairie Arts Center and leave it to us to add in the ART! We can host a family gathering, your friend group's rendezvous, or a fun, bonding event for you and your colleagues. We offer an instructor-guided art activity that is stress free and beginner friendly, as well as space enough for your snacks and beverages. You are welcome to bring your own decorations and any non-art related activities as well. Call us and we'll help find the perfect art activity to fit your group's vibe!

Art Adventures, hosted by the Prairie Art Center staff, are an opportunity to explore the rich and diverse art traditions of Oklahoma in community with fellow art lovers. Art Adventures will take shape around the enthusiasm of its participants. We may travel to see an exhibition of interest, have a picnic lunch afterwards to discuss, and then find a local trail to stroll. We may take a day to wander around and appreciate the public art works of a town of interest, stopping to shop and eat along the way. Prairie Arts Center will not charge a fee for these outings, but participants will be required to sign up in advance and cover their own travel expenses. Come join us for an Art Adventure!

Part of being in community with others is sharing resources and expressing gratitude for those resources and one another. We are happy to announce that this month's free community event here at PAC is in partnership with Stillwater Mobile Meals, an organization that is committed to feeding the convalescing, elderly and homebound members of our community. Drop by with your friends and family on Saturday, November 13th from 10-12 to help us make beautiful, inspired postcards to include in Mobile Meals' Thanksgiving deliveries. We will provide all the materials and some art prompts to get you into a creative and grateful mood!

Join us on Saturday, September 18th for a free Figure Drawing opportunity at the Prairie Arts Center! We will provide a live model dressed in a fun theatrical costume, provided by Jason Estala from the OSU Theatre Department. Plenty of sketch paper, charcoal, and pencils will be on hand, or feel free to bring your own supplies. Standing and tabletop easels will also be provided. All you have to do is draw! We encourage participants young and old, experienced and novice, to join us for this inspired community event. April Dawes, who leads our weekly figure drawing class, will be available for questions and will be working with the model on poses.
