Join us at the Prairie for Pull a Print,
a free monthly screenprinting activity open to all! This come-and-go
event invites community members to bring a personal item—like a shirt,
tote bag, tea towel, or other flat fabric—and screenprint it with one
unique design created for that month. Keep in mind the design is
approximately 12 inches x 12 inches and we use dark inks to print.

Celebrate the holidays with this beginner-friendly embroidery workshop! In this class, you’ll learn a variety of foundational stitches and techniques while designing a Christmas tree. All skill levels are welcome as we create a fun holiday design. 

Turn your scraps into sacred beauty. In this joyful mixed media class, you’ll learn how to cut, layer, and collage handmade florals using painted and patterned papers. We’ll create vibrant flower cards that celebrate color, play, and imperfection. You’ll explore both structured cutting (using simple templates) and freestyle cutting to discover your own creative rhythm. No prior art experience is needed—just a willingness to play.

Join local artist Elise Braggs for a hands-on introduction to linocut printmaking. In this engaging workshop, you'll explore the fundamentals of carving, hand-printing, and working with a relief press. Whether a beginner or an experienced printmaker, this class offers a welcoming space to dive into the tactile world of analogue printing. Participants will leave with a unique print of their own design, a collaborative print created alongside fellow attendees, and a deeper appreciation for traditional printmaking techniques. All materials are provided—just bring your curiosity and creativity! 

Join local artist Elise Braggs for an engaging exploration of Collagraphy. Using a variety of found and discarded materials, collagraph is a combination of collage and printmaking! Participants will be introduced to beginner friendly techniques using an x-acto knife and paperboard along with an understanding of how the method can be used in their personal practice outside of a studio space. Each person will walk away with a small edition of their own unique

prints. This class is perfect for those interested in at home print processes or anyone looking to pick up a sustainable hobby. All materials are provided—just bring your curiosity and creativity!
