In this Beginning Metalsmithing and Jewelry course, students will learn to solder, texture, saw, file, and set a stone while creating a beautiful ring to take home. Learn how to set oddly shaped stones and other objects using prongs. This is a beginner class to obtain skills in sawing, soldering, bail making, and more. Sterling silver is provided. You are welcome to bring an object from home to set, if it measurers less than 1.5” in all directions.
