The OSU Museum of Art and Prairie Arts Center are partnering to construct ready-to-go art kits that will be distributed to community members through various local non-profit centers. This outreach program is generously funded by the OSU Museum Art Advocates. Beginning in August of 2020, Community Art Kits will be given out at Our Daily Bread Food and Resource Center every 3rd Saturday of the month. Each bag will include written instructions and all the materials needed for one person to do the activity.  It is our hope these kits will make it easier, safer, and more enjoyable for caregivers to make art and spend quality time with their kids.

Prairie Arts Center is proud to be in partnership with the OSU Museum of Art to provide high quality, inquiry based programming for our community schools. The museum's PreK-12 tour program encourages students of all abilities to engage with art and each other by looking deeply and thinking creatively and critically. This level of engagement is continued at Prairie Arts Center for a hands-on making project directly related to the exhibition. Supplies are included and instruction and facilitation is provided by the Prairie Arts Center and museum staff.
