Discover the art of hand building in this beginner-friendly class, perfect for those who want to explore the tactile and creative possibilities of working with clay—no wheel required! Under the guidance of a professional ceramic artist, you’ll learn the foundational techniques of pinching, coiling, and slab construction. Throughout the course, you’ll work on instructor-designed projects that highlight each of these techniques and help you develop and refine your skills step by step. All students will work on the same projects at the same pace, ensuring a cohesive learning experience and plenty of opportunities to ask questions and receive personalized feedback.
All materials and tools are provided, and aprons and towels are encouraged to keep you clean while you work. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to explore!
