This class uses an embroidery hoop as both loom and frame to create an original weaving to be hung on a wall.  Students will learn to warp the loom, select appropriate yarns and other materials, design a weaving and then begin to create.  The instructor will demonstrate several weaving stitches and some pile weaves that can be used to add texture to the weaving.  If the weaving is not finished in class, students can take home enough materials to finish the project.
This class is suitable for both experienced weavers and beginners.
