These young chefs will make one dish each week in this cooking class. The first dish will be savory, (dinner that night) and second will be a dessert. In the process of mixing they will learn kitchen safety and how to measure ingredients. While food is baking they will design their own apron or illustrate their recipe pages.
Instructor's Name
Jacqui Savage has taught various art and cooking classes at the art center dating back to when the original Multigraphics Art Center which was located in Couch Park. When the center moved to its new building on Duck Street she continued to plan and teach the summer art program. She also developed an art program at the art center for the 3rd, 4th and 5th grades in the Stillwater Public Schools. She taught clay techniques, elements of art, principles of art, use of different media and other lessons. She also developed cooking classes for 5-year-olds and 3rd graders up to 6th graders. Jacqui also teaches workshops in other art media and in propagation of herbs.
