Come to Prairie Arts Center and let us help you celebrate your child's birthday with a fun and creative art experience! We offer an instructor-guided art activity (see choices below) and space and tables for cake and presents. You are welcome to bring your own decorations and games. We ask that you provide at least one adult chaperone per 10 kids.
The base rate for birthday parties is $150. For each child after the 10th, $15 will be added. Maximum of 15 kids. A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at time of booking and will go towards final payment.
Choose from one of these three activities:
Polymer Clay Figurines- Polymer clay is a popular way to make colorful and whimsical 3D figurines. This activity can easily be tailored to fit a party theme or a child's favorite subject. The instructor will lead the kids, step by step, to ensure success. The pieces will be baked on site and ready to go once the party is over. Please let us know if you'd like to turn your figurines into magnets.
Shrinky Dink Keychains- This activity is great for kids who love to draw! Like polymer clay, this activity can easily be tailored to fit a party theme or a child's favorite subject. The instructor will provide step by step instruction and/or stencils to ensure success. The pieces will be baked on site and ready to go once the party is over.
Glazed Ceramic Mugs- This activity is a great choice if your child loves to paint. It is generally more "free form" than the other two choices. Stroke-and-coat glazes are "painted" onto a mug to create a unique keepsake for each participant. The mugs are available for pick up a week after the party.
