We're excited to announce the 6th Annual Flood the Streets with Art event in Stillwater! Our mission is to make art accessible to everyone by spreading FREE art throughout the streets. This initiative, which started on Facebook, is now a beloved community event in Stillwater. Local artists generously donate original pieces, which can range in size and form, whether 2D or 3D. You’re invited to contribute your own artwork! On December 13, 2025, we’ll hit the streets with our Art "Wagon," distributing art for the community to discover. Paint a Pumpkin
It's pumpkin season! Make sure to schedule your paint a pumpkin before we run out of pumpkins. The pumpkin painting activity is great for families and friends to enjoy together. Come join us and have some fun! The last day for pumpkin painting is Saturday, November 1st; it could be sooner if we run out. To schedule your appointment call us at 405-744-1535 or email us here.
Community Art Studio
Come relax and be creative in our Community Art Studio! Every Saturday, from 10am-12pm, we will provide the space and supplies for you and your family and friends to enjoy a making activity. Directions and an example will be provided for each activity, as well as a staff member to answer questions. Please plan on staying with your children, as this is not a drop-off class. These activities are free, suitable for all ages, and come and go. The projects will change monthly.
Holiday Print Party 2024
We'd like to invite you to our first ever Holiday Print Party! All are welcome for this FREE community event from 6-8pm on Thursday, December 12th. Come in from the cold, eat snacks, be merry, and have fun printing holiday cards and wrapping paper with our extensive collection of holiday linocuts! No experience required, only good cheer!
The (Handmade) Ornament Emporium
The (Handmade) Ornament Emporium is the place to come to find unique, handcrafted, and up-cycled ornaments for this holiday season! Ornaments are lovingly created by the staff and artists here at Prairie Arts Center. Give these treasures as gifts or hang them on your own tree! All proceeds go to supporting future programming here at Prairie Arts Center.
Pottery Seconds Sale
Come visit us for Pottery Seconds Sale! The Prairie Arts pottery studio staff, students, and instructors are hosting this fundraiser to help support the center. Proceeds will go towards supplies for youth classes, equipment, and our scholarship fund. Pottery seconds are either glaze experiments, flawed in some minor way, or overstock, and will be offered at bargain prices. We will also have several ceramic pumpkins for sale as we always do during this time of the year. Pottery Seconds can be affordable home decor additions or early holiday gifts! This event is one day only in the parking lot in front of Prairie Arts Center.
