Water is easier to paint than you might think. It reflects light, it filters light, it fills with light. Colors, too. We’ll explore some ways to depict water.
We’ll work from life with an indoor setup, and work from photos of outdoor scenes (yours and mine). Think pools, lakes, ponds, creeks, or waterfalls…
I’ll demonstrate with pastels each day, and work one-on-one with each artist individually. Feel free to bring ideas, questions, and/or works in progress, too.
For all levels, from beginning through seasoned artists. Ages 16 and up. This workshop is also suitable for oil or acrylic artists. A number of the concepts apply to those mediums, as well.
