Block Stamp Prints

Come and join us on February 10th and get creative with Printmaster Tobi in the studio! We're excited to have you create some unique 5x7 prints from our collection of hand-carved block stamps. You also have the option to carve one or two of your own small stamps, which is a great way to add a personal touch to your prints. Let your imagination run wild and see how the blocks can be used to create patterns, stories, or statements that make your print truly one-of-a-kind.

Instructor
Tobi is an artist and designer in Stillwater with a passion for printmaking. Tobi likes to dabble in all arts but excels most in printmaking, illustration and graphic design. They received a BFA in Studio Arts from the University of New Mexico, which is where they fell in love with printmaking—especially lithography. Tobi was selected to work in collaboration with student printers at Tamarind Institute of Lithography during their senior year. Their work was subsequently exhibited in the Tamarind Gallery's exhibition, Excavation: A Tamarind Student Exhibition. Tobi loves to initiate their students into the analogue world of printmaking, teaching methods that are at once age-old and contemporary.
