Join local artist Elise Braggs for a festive exploration of collagraphy, a creative blend of collage and printmaking! Using a variety of found and discarded materials, participants will construct their own collagraph plates, experimenting with textures, shapes, and techniques to bring a holiday scene to life—think cozy fireplaces, snowy landscapes, cheerful snowmen, or sparkling Christmas trees. You’ll learn beginner-friendly methods using an x-acto knife and paperboard, as well as how to properly ink and print your design using our printing press. Each participant will create a small edition of unique prints—one of which will be donated to the center’s holiday display, on view in the lobby from mid-November through early January.

This class is perfect for anyone curious about at-home printmaking processes or looking for a creative, sustainable hobby. All materials are provided—just bring your curiosity and creativity!
