Past Printmaking Classes

In this class, you will be creating a reusable, long lasting, freeform screen that can be used with underglaze on your ceramic pieces (either on a form/vessel or on flat slabs). Your maximum image size will be 5 x 5 inches and you will have the choice to make up to two screens (i.e. two images/designs). You can create a single image or repeatable pattern so that your 5 x 5 inch-image can be used to create larger works.  Ideally we will play with a slab of clay and underglaze after our screens have been made.

In this two-day workshop, get a taste of screen printing by creating an original design to print, exposing the design onto a screen, and printing it on a tote bag you can take home! Your design will be 12 x 12 or smaller and hand drawn or traced from an image. No previous experience required. 

Join us for this drop in workshop to have fun printing fall or Halloween themed tote bags! You will print your own bags from pre-cut, ready to print, holiday themed lino blocks with help from the instructor. These are perfect for carrying candy on Halloween night! No experience is required.
