Wednesday's, Nov 7th - Dec 19th, 6 pm - 9 pm
Create beautiful and functional hand-built ceramic pieces with instructor Buck Dollarhide. Handbuilding is a way to work with clay without using the pottery wheel - instead techniques used are coils, slabs or pinching the clay to make functional and sculptural work. Equipment could include rolling pins, slab rollers, extruders and hump molds to start the process, using more clay to embellish and decorate our work. All kinds of variations in shape, form and texture can be made; the sky is the limit!
Instructor
Buck Dollarhide is a professional potter who has been teaching art for over 35 years. He minored in Studio Art at OSU and studied ceramics under OSU Professor Ron DuBois.
