How to Start, How to Finish
Pastel Workshop with Jude Tolar, PSA, IAPS/MC
Background choices and final touches can add more “wow” to your work.
We’ll focus the first day on backgrounds: choosing color(s), value(s), and other options to complement your subject.
The second day will focus on how to finish a pastel painting. I’ll bring a nearly-finished painting and show how I finish it. I’ll also work with each artist on one of his/her nearly-finished paintings to fine-tune it.
I’ll demonstrate each day, and work one-on-one with each artist.
All levels of experience are welcome.
