  • Paper Lantern Owls


    Tuesday, December 10 4:30PM-6:00PM
    Using liquid water color, decorative paper, and felt, create an owl lantern to light up your room on cold, winter nights! Twelve-inch paper lanterns are provided. Lighting accessories will have to be purchased by parents.

  • Paper Ornaments

    Learn how to create fun and colorful paper ornaments! Students will create a small book and slipcover that can hang on your holiday tree. We will have decorative papers tools and supplies just bring an imagination.

  • Parent and Child Fall Flavors Cooking Class

    Come spend some quality one-on-one time with your child and learn how to make a tasty holiday meal to boot! The instructor and chef extraordinaire, Jacqui Savage, will guide you through the process with good humor and expertise. With her help, you and your young helper will learn how to make savory pumpkin meatballs and a tasty pumpkin and tomato sauce. While the meatballs are cooking, you will each be provided with a placemat to personalize and take home, along with your meal of 6 meatballs with sauce. This culinary workshop is open to parents and children age 5 and up.

    Pfeffernusse (or peppernut) cookies are a traditional German holiday treat. Come learn about and bake (and eat!) these spicy bite-size delights. While the cookies are in the oven, we will busy ourselves with decorating a mason jar, just in case you'd like to give this batch away to someone you love!

    The Stillwater Center for the Arts is offering a 2-day art camp/workshop for kids based on the award-winning book by JORY JOHN and illustrated by PETE OSWALD

    Students will create works of art inspired by the narrative of THE BAD SEED: from seed mosaics, family portraits based of seed forms and shapes, to mono-prints and homemade snacks. Students will experience several art media and learn about themselves, positive life choices and the world around them.
