Holiday Pop Up Art Shops 2024
We are excited to be hosting our annual Holiday POP UP Art shop a little earlier this year. Join us on Saturday, November 16th from 10 am - 2pm to get a jump on your holiday shopping. As always, there will be a host of local artists selling work in various mediums including pottery, printmaking, jewelry, fiber arts, woodworking, metalsmithing, and more. Artists will set up outside alongside Good Little Eater and the Stillwater Farmers Market. Don't forget to come inside to shop our holiday Ornament Emporium in the lobby and participate in our FREE holiday making activity that all ages and skill levels can enjoy!
Prairie Arts Center Schedule of Events for Lexicon
The Stillwater Community Center, the Stillwater Public Library, Prairie Arts Center, Visit Stillwater, and Stonecloud Brewing are excited to announce that LexiCon, the Stillwater Cultural District’s mini-comic convention, will return with events from Thursday, Oct. 24 through Saturday, Oct. 26. The festival is for fans of comic books, science fiction, gaming, anime, and pop culture. We are so proud to be a part of this event. Paint a Pumpkin
It's pumpkin season! Make sure to schedule your paint a pumpkin before we run out of pumpkins. The pumpkin painting activity is great for families and friends to enjoy together. Pottery Seconds Sale
Come visit us for Pottery Seconds Sale! The Prairie Arts pottery studio staff, students, and instructors are hosting this fundraiser to help support the center. Proceeds will go towards supplies for youth classes, equipment, and our scholarship fund. Pottery seconds are either glaze experiments, flawed in some minor way, or overstock, and will be offered at bargain prices. We will also have several ceramic pumpkins for sale as we always do during this time of the year. Pottery Seconds can be affordable home decor additions or early holiday gifts! This event is one day only in the parking lot in front of Prairie Arts Center.
Paper Studio Night
If you're a fan of memory keeping, art journaling, printmaking, or simply love all things paper-related, then this is the perfect group for you! Get together with people to chat and create, every Tuesday. Bring your own project and supplies, and enjoy the company of others who share your interests.
