Ready to paint a landscape of your own choosing? Bring a picture to work from and let artist Mark Crow guide you through the process! Come put your beginner skills to work and learn new ones to make your landscape come to life.  This class requires you to purchase your own set of acrylics and brushes so you can work at home in between classes. You will work on aging surfaces, creating depth, and working with light and shadow. Learn to use a wide range of brushes, colors, and techniques to bring life to this exciting scene.

This two-day workshop will focus on techniques for painting with hard and soft pastels. We’ll try new ways to use pastels, as well review and revisit favorite ways to use them. We’ll work some from life, using various objects as our models. We'll also work some from photos. Feel free to bring ideas, questions, and/or works in progress, too.
