Experience the ancient art of clay cooking vessels! In this class, you’ll hand-build a traditional bean pot using micaceous clay from New Mexico. Learn how to coil, slip-coat, burnish, and open-pit fire your piece using authentic Pueblo Indian techniques. The result is a beautiful, heat-tolerant pot that’s perfect for light cooking or display.
No experience needed—just curiosity and a love of making!
