This class is designed for those who have completed our Beginning Wheel Throwing class or have basic experience on the pottery wheel. Under the guidance of a professional ceramic artist, you’ll deepen your understanding of the techniques learned in Wheel One, with a focus on refining your forms and exploring more complex shapes.

 

Discover the art of hand building in this beginner-friendly class, perfect for those who want to explore the tactile and creative possibilities of working with clay—no wheel required! Under the guidance of a professional ceramic artist, you’ll learn the foundational techniques of pinching, coiling, and slab construction. Throughout the course, you’ll work on instructor-designed projects that highlight each of these techniques and help you develop and refine your skills step by step. All students will work on the same projects at the same pace, ensuring a cohesive learning experience and plenty of opportunities to ask questions and receive personalized feedback.

 

Calling all aspiring painters! Our Introduction to Acrylic Painting class with Mark Crow is the perfect opportunity for you. This class will guide you step by step in painting a springtime favorite, hollyhock flowers. Mark will be  focusing on techniques that balance a relaxed approach with semi-realistic details. Join us for an inspiring class during which you can experiment, learn, and create in a supportive and fun environment.

Join us for fun, hands-on Saturday Youth Clay Classes, designed for kids ages 8-14! Each month, students will explore different hand-building techniques to create a unique clay project. No prior experience with clay is needed. After the workshop, projects will be bisque-fired and ready for painting, glazing, or pick-up as early as the following week.
