In this festive holiday class, design three glass fused ornaments of your choice on pre-cut glass bases. These make perfect gifts or something special for your own home! No prior experience with glass necessary. The instructor will fire your ornaments in a kiln after they are made and they will be ready for pick up on Dec. 1st. 

In this 3 hour workshop, we will cover how to start an oil painting and learn foundation techniques such as how to hold a brush, how to use a palette, and how much oil and paint to use. This workshop will focus on values and transitions, using a monochromatic palette. Students will produce a monochromatic painting from photo reference. 

Students should have previous drawing experience.

Students will create up to four adorable holiday ornaments out of simple paper tubes. The templates will include a fox, a saguaro cactus, a gnome home, and an owl. Students can create at their own pace in this relaxed workshop environment and explore the materials on hand. Everyone is sure to make at least one new favorite to put on the tree!

Students can create a pop up card, a hand printed card, and/or a collaged card in this fun, relaxed holiday workshop environment. Different work stations will allow them the opportunity to experiment with the materials and be inspired by their peers. Students may produce one card, or ten, depending on their choices!
