Painted Layers – A Mixed Media Experience
In this creative, process-centered series, you’ll create two original 10x10 artworks on cradled wood panels using gelli printing, mark-making, stenciling, and layering with painted and found paper elements to build rich, textural compositions. Each week introduces a new mixed media technique—focusing on color, contrast, visual composition, and creative rhythm—to help you build expressive, cohesive works of art.

Introduction to Collagraph
Join local artist Elise Braggs for an engaging exploration of Collagraphy. Using a variety of found and discarded materials, collagraph is a combination of collage and printmaking! Participants will be introduced to beginner friendly techniques using an x-acto knife and paperboard along with an understanding of how the method can be used in their personal practice outside of a studio space. Each person will walk away with a small edition of their own unique
prints. This class is perfect for those interested in at home print processes or anyone looking to pick up a sustainable hobby. All materials are provided—just bring your curiosity and creativity!
Leaf Sun Catcher Stained Glass Class
Join us for an engaging glass crafting workshop, guided by stained glass artist Meghan Brasuell. You'll have the chance to create a leaf sun catcher. In this session, you will select your own glass color palette while learning the Tiffany-style stained glass technique. This class welcomes all skill levels and is designed to ignite your creativity, allowing you to learn a new art form! Each participant will leave with a one-of-a-kind piece they made themselves, with a pattern measuring approximately 5 inches in height.

Rug Tufting
This class offers an opportunity to get up close and personal with the newest fiber arts phenomenon - rug tufting. We will provide your frame, your tufting cloth, your choice of four different yarn colors from our selection, and your tufting machine, as well as an instructor to guide you through it! By the end of the two day class, you’ll have a fully tufted rug. You can choose a design from our preselected options or create your own design! After the workshop we will finish the backing of your rug for you, and they will be available for pickup right back here at the PAC.
