Rug Tufting Tuesday Nights

This class offers an opportunity to get up close and personal with the newest fiber arts phenomenon - rug tufting. We will provide your frame, your tufting cloth, your choice of four different yarn colors from our selection, and your tufting machine, as well as an instructor to guide you through it! By the end of the two day class, you’ll have a fully tufted rug. You can choose a design from our preselected options or create your own design! After the workshop we will finish the backing of your rug for you, and they will be available for pickup right back here at the PAC.

Ceramic Fairy Houses

Explore the enchanting world of ceramic fairy houses in this hands-on, beginner friendly class. You will learn essential handbuilding techniques in order to create your piece. Your original, whimsical fairy house will be a perfect adornment for any garden or yard. No prior experience necessary.

Kids' Art Studio 2024

This summer's Kids' Art Studio will be an Encore! of our Art Below the Equator summer camps. Each day, we will take our inspiration from an artist or culture from the Southern Hemisphere to create a finished art project. Even though returning summer camp students may be familiar with the theme, the projects will be new. Unlike summer camp, students may attend one day, all four, or anything in between.

Enameling on copper

Come learn how to enamel on copper with a kiln! Using fine powders of colored glass, you will create 3 to 4 pieces, earrings, and/or pendants.

Beginner Drawing - Fantasy Map

Embark on a beginner-friendly adventure in fantasy map-making! No prior experience required—just bring your imagination. Using unconventional items like rice, lentils, or beans, we'll create intriguing borders for our maps. Explore the art of crafting villages, mountains, cliffs, farmlands, water features, boat wrecks, and tiny islands—all meticulously rendered in black ink. Join us and unleash your inner cartographer as we bring fantastical worlds to life!

Flower Gate Acrylic Painting with Mark Crow - Saturday

Join instructor Mark Crow as he guides you through an afternoon of creating an enchanting flower gate entranceway. Enhance your living space with beautiful artwork or create a heartfelt gift for someone special. This session offers you the opportunity to perfect a painting style that combines whimsical charm with a hint of realism, all while enjoying the pleasure of being creative. No experience is required.
