In this session, you will select your own glass color palette while learning the Tiffany-style stained glass technique. This class welcomes all skill levels and is designed to ignite your creativity, allowing you to learn a new art form! In this course, students explore the basic physical properties of clay by practicing a variety of hand-forming techniques used to create functional objects. Hand-forming techniques will include pinch pottery, slab and coil building, mold slumping, and texturizing surfaces. The objective of this class is not to make pieces to take home, but rather to learn what is possible and give students a chance to get their hands dirty and feel what it's like to work with clay. No previous experience with clay is needed for this class. This class is a prerequisite to attend  open studio.

Join us in learning embroidery techniques while celebrating Christmas in July! Customize your wreath with different colors. You will be provided embroidery thread, hoop, fabric, red beads, ribbon, and an embroidery needle to complete this design. We will be learning satin stitching, chain stitch, lazy daisy, and other embroidery techniques for this project. No previous experience is necessary! Most attendees will not finish this project during the workshop, but you will leave knowing all needed techniques to complete your design.

This summer's Kids' Art Studio will be an Encore! of our Artists in the Spotlight summer camps. Each day students will explore a different artist from our summer line-up, creating a finished artwork inspired by their medium, subject matter, philosophy, and/or life. Even though returning summer camp students may be familiar with the theme, the projects will be new. Unlike summer camp, students may attend one day, all four, or anything in between.
