Join local teacher, elder and wise woman, Jacqui Savage, to  create a beautiful holiday wreath that celebrates our connection to nature and the turning of the seasons. Decorate your wreath with assorted pinecones, seedpods, nuts, leaves, and acorns, mostly harvested locally by Jacqui. Feel free to bring your own gathered treasures! There will be gold and silver paint and ribbons to add the perfect finishing touches. Hang your wreath inside or out, or use it as a centerpiece for the table. Enjoy it for years to come!

This project will spruce up your front entry or backdoor for the holidays, plus it's functional and cute! Katie Roberts has made a dozens of these doormats and she will guide you through the creative process. We will provide a high pile coir doormate  for you to sketch out your design first and then paint it using acrylic paint. After it dries, we will add a sealer. Come up with your own design or we will have some suggestions ready. All supplies included. This would be a fun project for parent and child to do together!

In this 3 hour workshop, we will cover how to start an oil painting and learn foundation techniques such as how to hold a brush, how to use a palette, and how much oil and paint to use. This workshop will focus on values and transitions, using a monochromatic palette. Students will produce a monochromatic painting from photo reference. 

Students should have previous drawing experience.

Students will create up to four adorable holiday ornaments out of simple paper tubes. The templates will include a fox, a saguaro cactus, a gnome home, and an owl. Students can create at their own pace in this relaxed workshop environment and explore the materials on hand. Everyone is sure to make at least one new favorite to put on the tree!

Students can create a pop up card, a hand printed card, and/or a collaged card in this fun, relaxed holiday workshop environment. Different work stations will allow them the opportunity to experiment with the materials and be inspired by their peers. Students may produce one card, or ten, depending on their choices!
