For those with previous experience in metalsmithing, we have an exciting class with local artist Kathy Shann! Kathy will be teaching how to design and make a sterling silver cuff bracelet with a beautiful stone. Students should have basic knowledge of sawing, texturing, soldering and stone setting. Students will choose and purchase a stone directly from Kathy and will need to bring cash or use Venmo as form of payment directly to her. She will bring gaspeite, turquoise and a selection of red stones to choose from.

You will learn how to paint black eyes and bruises and how to make an easy monster skin out of household gelation and food coloring. On Tuesday, you will learn basic clay sculpting and paper layering techniques to create the base of your one of a kind parade mask. On Thursday, come back to paint and embellish your creation.
