This two-day workshop will focus on techniques for painting with hard and soft pastels. We’ll try new ways to use pastels, as well review and revisit favorite ways to use them. We’ll work some from life, using various objects as our models. We'll also work some from photos. Feel free to bring ideas, questions, and/or works in progress, too.

These classes are sure to spark the creative spirit and produce some interesting and amazing works of art! Each day, students will receive a mystery bag of art supplies that must be put to use in some way in an art work of their design. Students will spend time planning their artwork and will have tokens that they can use to "buy" additional supplies to supplement what comes in their bag. At the end of the day, we will see all the different ways we've created using similar materials!

Join instructor Mark Crow to create an inviting winter scene with colorful greenery, water, and sky. It's a great painting project for beginners! Learn valuable skills and techniques while creating a beautiful painting for yourself or a loved one.

Do you need new holiday stockings- for a new family member, a new baby, a new house with a mantel, or maybe you have always wanted to make them yourself? Check out our handmade felt stockings! These appliquéd felt stockings will inspire you to get creative. We will provide the cut outs for up to five different stocking patterns. You will aplique your choice of image and then embellish it with beads, ribbon, trim or whatever you might like. Bring the whole family or a group of friends.  Each stocking is individually priced so you can purchase additional materials to finish more stockings at home.

In this festive holiday class, design three glass fused ornaments of your choice on pre-cut glass bases. These make perfect gifts or something special for your own home! No prior experience with glass necessary. The instructor will fire your ornaments in a kiln after they are made and they will be ready for pick up on Dec. 1st.
