Join us for an engaging glass crafting workshop, guided by stained glass artist Meghan Brasuell. You'll have the chance to create either a leaf sun catcher or a mushroom plant stake, both ideal for the shifting seasons. In this session, you will select your own glass color palette while learning the Tiffany-style stained glass technique. This class welcomes all skill levels and is designed to ignite your creativity, allowing you to learn a new art form! Each participant will leave with a one-of-a-kind piece they made themselves, with each pattern measuring approximately 5 inches in height.

Beginning Metalsmithing and Jewelry- October 2024
Have you ever been interested in learning the art of metalsmithing in order to create your own, one-of-a-kind jewelry? In this Beginning Metalsmithing and Jewelry course, students will learn to solder, texture, saw, file, and set a stone while creating a beautiful ring to take home. Students will also learn jewelry studio safety protocols and how to properly use and care for the tools. No previous metalsmithing experience is required. Upon completion of this course, students may sign up to use the studio during open studio hours.

Cute Animal Yarn Bowls for Beginners
Join us for a fun and creative workshop where you’ll learn to handbuild adorable animal-themed ceramic yarn bowls! This three-hour class is perfect for beginners—no prior experience is needed. You’ll receive step-by-step guidance to create your own unique piece, and all materials are provided. Come ready to unleash your creativity and take home a charming yarn bowl that’s both functional and decorative. Bowls will be ready to pick up on October 19th.
Wheel Throwing 2
Introduction to Wheel Throwing 2 will offer the continued practice of centering and creating a cylinder vessel. Demonstration and discussion on advanced surface decoration and glazing techniques will also be covered. Students should have previously taken Introduction to Wheel Throwing 1 to participate in this class. During this class, students are eligible for open studio time.
Pinch Pot Ghost Pottery Workshop
Come have some holiday fun and create an adorable ghost pinch pot with instructor Jo Haven. In this one day workshop, you'll make your ghost and a tiny little pumpkin for its head. Put a pumpkin on it! You don't need any clay experience to add these cuties to your Halloween decor. Ghosts will be bisque fired and ready to glaze by October 12th.

Wheel Throwing 1
Instruction will include students’ skills in the areas of general properties of clay, throwing on the wheel, and glazing. This is a class that will allow you to get your hands dirty, make mistakes, and get the feel of the wheel. No previous experience in clay is needed for this class. Upon completing this class, students are eligible for instructional open studio time.
